- Ethics in Real Estate - This online course covers duties to clients and customers, duties to the public, duties to brokers, and case studies.
- Tax Free Exchanges - The topics included in this course covers the basics of a tax free exchange of investment property. Topics covered include requirements of a tax free exchange, types of exchanges and the methods for transferring title when an exchange takes place.
- Overview of Real Estate Law - The subject matter of this continuing education course will cover themes such as provisional status, reciprocity agreements, real estate forms, continuing education, prelicensure, and the Arizona Real Esate Commision.
- Contracts and Closing Statements - This course will provide knowledge for preclosing procedures, RESPA, closing staements, prorations, contracts used in real estate, discharge of contracts, federal and local laws and requirements, and pertinent legal information.
These are the current requirements for renewing your Arizona Real Estate Broker license. We will always provide the newest information available and will update the requirements as soon as there are changes.
- To renew your Real Estate Broker license in the state of Arizona, you are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
- The Board has mandatory categories that the licensee must complete 3 hours in each of these categories. The mandatory categories are Agency Law, Disclosure, Contract Law, Fair Housing, Commissioner’s Standards’, and Real Estate Legal Issues.
- The remaining 6 hours may be completed in mandatory, Business Brokerage, or General Real Estate categories. Licensees may only receive a maximum of 9 continuing education hours a day.
- Licensees are encouraged to maintain a record of continuing education completion.
